Refund Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
Thank you for your purchase.
Rovy acts as the authorised reseller and Merchant of Record for digital products created by software developers ("Suppliers"). This means Rovy is the seller of record for your transaction, and refunds are handled by us.
This policy explains when you can get a refund and how to request one. It forms part of our Buyer Terms.
If your local consumer protection laws give you stronger rights than this policy, those rights always apply. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
Your statutory rights
Where local law gives you an unconditional right to withdraw from a purchase, that right applies regardless of anything else in this policy.
| Region | Withdrawal period |
|---|---|
| UK, EU/EEA, Switzerland | 14 days |
| Turkey, Israel | 14 days |
| Canada | 7 days |
| Brazil | 7 days |
| South Korea | 7 days |
| China | 7 days |
| Singapore | 5 days |
The period runs from the date of purchase. For subscriptions, it applies to the first payment, not to subsequent renewals.
If you purchased an annual subscription in the UK, a new 14-day withdrawal period starts on the day the subscription auto-renews.
Important for digital products. This right does not apply where you requested immediate access to the digital content at checkout and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. In practice this applies to most purchases through Rovy, since digital products are delivered immediately after payment.
Where the right of withdrawal no longer applies, you may still be eligible for a discretionary refund, see below.
Discretionary refunds
Outside statutory periods, purchases are generally non-refundable. However, we may issue a refund at our discretion if you contact us within 14 days of purchase.
We review each request individually, considering the type of product, the reason for the request, and how much of the product has been used. We may approve a full refund, a partial refund, or decline the request.
A discretionary refund doesn't create an obligation to refund similar requests in future.
Faulty or misdescribed products
If a product doesn't work as described or has a material defect:
- Contact the Supplier first — they can usually resolve technical issues fastest.
- If that doesn't resolve it, contact us at [email protected] with details of the issue and any response from the Supplier.
- Where there's a genuine defect, we'll issue a refund in line with applicable consumer law.
This applies regardless of the time periods above, and is not affected by any waiver of withdrawal rights at checkout.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with:
- The email address used for the purchase
- The product name
- The date and amount of the transaction
You can also use the receipt link in your confirmation email.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 14 days.
Where a refund is issued, access to the product will end.
Subscriptions
If a transaction isn't eligible for a refund, you can still cancel the subscription at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Before you contact your bank
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first, it's usually faster than raising a dispute with your bank, and we can often resolve it the same day.
If you do raise a chargeback, access to the product may be suspended while we review. This doesn't affect your right to dispute a charge under card scheme or consumer protection rules.
Not sure what a charge is? See Why has Rovy charged me?
Refunds we won't issue
We won't issue refunds where there's evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
